This automation can be overwhelming initially, and this is one of those cases where I want ActiveCampaign had a more out-of-the-box solution. But, because you can do anything with ActiveCampaign, often you have to build things from scratch. ActiveCampaign has a choice to delete inactive subscribers, which I do not suggest.

Some subscribers don’t have tracking turned on, so their opens aren’t taped. Others still wish to be subscribed but have actually been busy.
